As mentioned before, our preferred platform is Logic Pro, combined with the Motu
828 and Behringer DDX 3216 to mix down projects. Project songs are saved on the Behringer DDX3216 for easy recall and the whole project folder is backed onto DVD for easy access as an additional customer service. It would be best to convert all instruments onboard and outboard into audio files and export the whole song in OMF format. Please un tick the Split Interleaved Audio and use 16bit if your files are too big to export as one OMF file. Please take note of the below info as well.

Projects Mixed Down With Cubase
The best solution would be to export the song in OMF format which converts all the parts of a song into separate audio files without any FX. If there is a specific part you'd like to retain an FX for, record the part as an audio file with the FX and then Export the song as an OMF file. We would then load the OMF file into Logic and it will reflect the exact arrangement you have including any Recorded FX and Automation. Or just bring us the song folders. |

Projects Mixed On Digital Performer
The same as above would apply but instead of Exporting you would have to Save As an OMF file and when imported into Logic it would have your exact arrangement including any Recorded FX and Automation. We can assist in performing this operation if required. |

Projects Mixed On Reason
We also mix projects that have been arranged in Reason, utilizing Logic and Reason on the Mac platform. How we would go about doing this is a simple mater of separating the parts onto different channels through Reason and into Logic, thus enabling us to effect each part separately. Just bring us the reason files. |

Projects Mixed On FruityLoops
There are various methods to mix down projects done in Fruity Loops. Preferred method would be to Export each part separately as wav files into a folder named after the song and bring it to us to mix down. Or, if you prefer, you could utilized Project Bones and Project Data Files to Export the song with all it's parts into a folder named after the song and let us extract the parts. |

Projects Mixed On Other Music Production Software
For Songs mixed in various other production software like Sonar, Samplitude etc. In most cases you would also use OMF to Export all the parts but please feel free to contact us for advice on what the best method to Export your songs would be. |
